IPL Points Table 2024, Team Rankings: Rajasthan Royals strengthened their hold at the top of the 2024 Indian Premier League points table as they beat Punjab Kings by three wickets. The 2008 winners now have 10 points from six games, four more than the Kolkata Knight Riders, Chennai Super Kings and Lucknow Super Giants – the other three teams among the top four.
Meanwhile, Punjab Kings remained stuck at eighth place in the points table with just two wins from their six outings.
While Rajasthan do hold the advantage when it comes to the points, KKR have played two games fewer than the table toppers while CSK and LSG have played one match less.

The playoff scenario
RR, KKR, CSK and LSG are the four sides that are currently in the top four. The top four teams will qualify for the IPL 2024 playoffs. The top two teams will play in the first Qualifier with the winner going straight into the final. The Eliminator will be played between the teams who are placed third and fourth in the IPL 2024 standings. The winner of the Eliminator will lock horns against the losing team of Qualifier 1. The winner of the Qualifier 2 will enter the final, which will be held at May 26.
